December 4, 2009 – Any DVD Cloner Platinum 1.0.2 is released to let you successfully copy Transformers 2, Star Trek XI, Up, Bolt, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure, Live Free or Die Hard, Escape from Guantanamo Bay, and more popular DVD movies which are attempted to prevent copying by creating bad sectors or bad DVD structure which will cause the burning process to fail.

The most significant improvements and fixes in the V1.0.2 release include the following:
1. Cloner Platinum crashed just before reaching the end of the ripping step while copying some new released DVD movies.(improved)
2. Cloner Platinum took a long time to scan a DVD but eventually failed to open up DVD movies while using Highly Enhanced open method.(fixed)
3. Cloner Platinum was unable to judge the real main movie title correctly while copying some new movies like Transformer 2 and Up. (fixed)
4. Cloner Platinum failed to detect bad cell in the main movie title while using default Normal open method.(improved)
5. Cloner Platinum couldn't skip potential fake titles with considerable size.(improved)
While the new version has make some improvements and allows users to copy most popular DVD movies correctly, some DVD movies encrypted with tough copy protection may also cause the program shut down unexpectedly. If users encounter any problem with current version, it's strongly recommended to send the crash report as well as the dvdcloner_platinum.log to the technical support at support@any-dvd-cloner.com. Users can easily find the dvdcloner.log by clicking ? > View Logs in the top right of Any DVD Cloner Platinum window.
